Pei Yen 99% Aloe Vera 2nd Review : OMG there's differences among them??

On my previous post I talked about the new aloe vera lip balm that I fell in love with and keep ranting here and there about how much I'm obsessed with it. Like I said, I'm planning to buy 1 box of it, took 2 (actually I took 3 since I'm planning to use it everyday haha) and sell the rest. And that's done ! But then.. there's a slight difference between my old lip balm and the new one..

On my previous post, I mentioned that the lip balm color got more red upon thicker applications. But my new lip balm (same brand) seems to work in a different way. Sure it still got its moisturizing effect, unique pink color on each person, but then the further that the color can go no matter how thick you applied them is pink/peach! Idk if this is a good news to others, but to me it is haha.

Naked lips

Single stroke (Natural pink lips!)

Adding a few more layer!
As you can see, the thicker I applied, the more natural pink color it gets! It might look the same to you, but its not (Note that color may look different due to monitor/screen variations). In personal it actually looked kinda amazing. It looked like you didn't wear anything and your lips just that natural healthy pink <3

Oh one more thing I noticed, apart from it worked like magic for those who have sensitive lips like mine, it also doesn't fade upon eating/drinking! Your lips look exactly freaking same! I justt love this product so much <3

Here's the difference and similarities...

Old and New Swatch

Left "Old" // Right "New"

Old one
New one
In case you're wondering what is the lipstick's color. It's actually green.

Here's How This Product is typically advertised all around  the internet

In case you didn't notice, my new lip balm looked more like the advertisement. Well the selling point is actually "restoring your pink lips" and never it was mentioned it will make your lips red like using  lipstick haha.

Difference

1. Color intensities upon application

Similarities

1. Moisturizing effect
2. Treating sensitive/dark/cracked lips
3. Does not fade upon eating/drinking
4. Unique color upon different individuals

What Do You Think about this?

  1. How can it be 99% aloe vera and still keep its shape as a lipstick? What are the other 1% ingredients? Come on! Be honest!
